Victory Medal Presented to Emerson Knight for War Service
Emerson Beck Knight of 2824 North Talbott Avenue received the Armistice Day Victory medal at the State House ceremony. Knight, a former private in the 6th Marines, fought in the St Mihiel offensive earning eight wounds. He later served in the air service, re enlisted in the marine corps, and went overseas in August 1918. He heads the Emerson Beck Knight Advertising Company and is connected to Maj Gen Robert H Milton as an uncle.
