DePauw Musicians Prominent On Richmond Program
More than 500 musicians and music teachers from across Indiana will attend the Indiana Association of Music Teachers convention in Richmond April 20 to 22. Frances E. Clark will speak at the opening session with other educators, and DePauw University figures will lead several departments. A community sing will open the events, with business sessions and sectional meetings continuing through April 22.

Farmers and stock breeders of Putnam County organized the Putnam County Live Stock Breeders Association after meeting Saturday. They discussed plans for a sales pavilion to be erected here in the summer.

The Putnam County Live Stock Breeders Association was organized to promote better livestock. Chas Bridges elected president with W D Lovett as vice president and Earl Bunten as secretary treasurer. An executive committee of four breed representatives will oversee a new livestock sales pavilion planned for construction this summer. A report on committee work will be given April 3. In other news, Ernest David Williams married Miss Lela Myrtle Phillips at the Christian church parsonage and will reside on a nearby farm.

A Ford car owned by Lawrence Crawley was stolen Sunday evening while Mr and Mrs Crawley attended revival services. The vehicle was parked on Vine Street near the tabernacle.

Lawrence Crawley reports a Ford touring car valued near 400 dollars stolen Sunday evening from Vine street while he and Mrs. Crawley attended revival services. The car contained carpenter tools worth over 50 dollars stored under the rear seat. Police were notified. the switch box key suggests the thief had access. No trace of the vehicle yet.

Waymire Captured in Terre Haute on Robbery Charge
An alleged suspect, Eugene Waymire, was held in Terre Haute for robbery linked to two home burglaries. Marshall O H air planned to identify the man and bring him to Greencastle for trial. Waymire reportedly accompanied Herbert McGranahan during the crimes. McGranahan was later jailed and sent to the state reformatory. The suspect used the name Hugh Miller when arrested.
