Tribute to memory of Mrs. Henry Werneke
A crowd gathered at Henry S. Werneke's home on East Anderson Street to honor Mrs. Werneke who died Friday in an Indianapolis hospital after an operation. Funeral services were at 2 50 p m led by Rev Thomas Younger of the Presbyterian Church. A lyre bouquet from the band members decorated the bier. pallbearers were W C Timmons E A Browning Elmer Stratton E Shipley Harry Hays and Gerald Handy. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Car Hits Buggy. Farmer Lorenzo O Neal Fatally Injured
A 65 year old farmer named Lorenzo O Neal was fatally injured when an Interurban car struck his buggy just west of Coatesville at about 7 15 this morning. He died a few hours later in hospital.

Horse Killed Instantly In Indiana Interurban Crash
Lorenzo Oneal a 65 year old farmer northeast of Coatesville Indiana died after an interurban car struck his buggy at a road crossing near Coatesville at 7 15 this morning. He died a few hours later at a nearby farmhouse. The horse was killed instantly and the buggy demolished. O Neal was thrown onto the interurban right of way as the car stopped and aid was summoned. The westbound freight car was driven by Motor H K Green with Conductor O Stewart of Indianapolis. He is survived by a widow.

Temperatures around 88 to 90 degrees drove crowds to Shades of Death and Eel River Falls on Sunday. A cooling breeze and late clouds eased the heat, with many Greencastle families enjoying bathing and outings at both popular spots. Notables in attendance at Shades of Death included Earl Lane and family, the Lanes, Hendersons, Bence, Tilden, Arnolds, and others. at Eel River Falls were Cleve Thomas, James Warner, Frank Thomas and family, and Mayor J Walter Cooper among many residents.

He recently completed 30 days there and paid a 100 dollar fine. Kelly had jumped from a second story window during prior gambling raids at Harmony.
