The 36 year old, 5 foot 10 inch, 200 plus pound leader is described as genial, quick minded with broad knowledge in social, international, industrial and religious affairs. He was born in Sonora California on August 14 1891 and earned an A B from the University of Southern California in 1913 where he played football. He remains athletic and is active in golf tennis and track. He studied postgraduate work at Boston University Harvard and other institutions.

Aged Roachdale Woman Dies at 88 in North Salem
Margaret Christina Dicker of Roachdale and Barnard died at North Salem home of Elissa Shirley Sunday at 3 36 pm. Cause was old age with complications. A North Salem native born to Preston and Susan Pennington, she married Franklin Butler in 1856, had son John, later wed Floyd Dickerson in 1890. Survived by eight grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, five step children, brother Worth Pennington, and a Roachdale Baptist church member noted as a pioneer in Hendricks and Putnam counties.
