Funeral Monday at 9 AM at St Pauls Catholic Church. burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Survived by five of ten children Frank John James Anna and Sister Theresa Marie. five predeceased. President appeals to coal miners to end strike in telegram

The Girton family of Clay and adjoining counties plans the first annual reunion on the second Sunday in August 1920 at Blas Girton's Grove near Eagles on the Terre Haute Indianapolis interurban line.
