Funeral services for Fern Irene O’Hair daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry O’Hair were held at 2 30 PM Wednesday at the Brick Chapel Methodist church. Rev Henry L Davis led the service with special music by Mrs Frank Aper and Lena Hicks. Interment followed in Brick Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers included James Stoops J O Cammack James F Swift E R Bartley Roy Clark and N C O’Hair. The 8 C C Club served as flower girls and honorary pall bearers. Relatives from out of town attended.

One hundred sixty eight Green Castle boys aged 8 to 15 were guests of the Rotary Club at North Wood Park. The event featured 1000 ice cream cones and 400 weiner and ham sandwiches, races, a bigfoot final, a yell fest, and remarks by Charles McGaughey on proper conduct.
