The estate totals over 50000 mainly in real estate. Mrs. Mattox was widow of Dr. James Mattox murdered in Terre Haute about forty years ago.

85 year old Timothy Murphy injured in porch fall

Timothy Murphy, an elderly resident of this city, slipped on ice on his back porch on Elizabeth street Saturday around 3 30 pm and fell. He suffered two broken ribs and bruises to his hip and shoulder but his injuries are not serious and he is resting today.

Death of Mrs. Mary Ikamire at Putnamville

Mrs Mary Ikamire died at her home near Putnamville at 3 pm Sunday from a stroke of apoplexy. She was 78. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 am at the Ikamire home two miles west of Putnamville on the National Road, with interment in Putnamville cemetery. An Eastern Star Benefit is planned for Thursday night at the Opera House.
