Tree Planting Guidelines For Roadside Growth
The text describes setback and spacing for trees by roadsides, advising trees be far enough from wind and sun exposure and that roots should grow downward rather than spreading horizontally. It mentions varieties that stay safe from gutters and roadways and highlights chestnut as a recommended species.
Road surfaces must be durable under all weather conditions
The text argues that proper road construction should produce a surface that is smooth and impervious to water, remaining firm and yielding no matter the climate, unlike other roads that fail these requirements when covered with artificial materials.
