Charles Cline an 18 year old orphan is jailed on bad check charges. He confessed to cashing 47 40 in checks at Glascock Jewelry Schoen man Jewelry and Southard Book stores using fake names. Multiple automobile accidents around Greencastle over the weekend left Herbert Floyd Lonnie Floyd in the County Hospital with minor injuries after a Sunday morning crash on the west Columbia street road. Hugh Smock suffered four broken ribs and home recovery after his car overturned when a tire blew. A Paoli family escaped injury when their car rolled down Lemmick Hill, while Leo Puncsack from Indianapolis caused a sequence of crashes including a filling station collapse. The body of Spence Tuttle, 55, a carpenter living south of Muncie, was found by Lon Fuson on state road No 3 at 10 last night. Police say the man was likely the victim of a hit and run. the body showed heavy mangling and drag marks.
