Easter tabernacle revival raises funds and converts Greencastle
In Greencastle Evangelist Barr leads Union Evangelistic Campaign at a crowded tabernacle. More than fifty joined morning services and twelve to eighteen professed faith at the Sunday meetings. About 1200 in area pledged roughly 1175 dollars toward expenses with ongoing support planned. no night offering.

Despite heavy weather a large Presbyterian Church congregation gathered for Easter worship. Pulpit decoration of ferns smilax tulips carnations and lilies honored late Andrew Black and Eugene Whiteside by Miss Virginia Black and Loring Whiteside. A photo of the display was taken yesterday afternoon. Marie Williams led the music with a junior choir and Prof. Naylor and Mrs. G Black assisting.

Ezra Brown reports a 1919 Ford touring car stolen from in front of the Central National Bank building near Cloverdale Saturday around noon. A large crowd stood nearby but none could identify the thief or provide vehicle details. no license or engine numbers were obtained. The theft was reported late and by noon Monday no trace had been found.

Indiana State Highway Commission authorized contracts for 13 bridge projects including two on the National Road in eastern Putnam county. A 30 foot concrete span over Robard's Creek to Mid West Bridge Co for 7297 and a 55 foot concrete span over Sallust Creek to E Wright for 12153.98. The commission will seek bids to improve the National Road from Brazil to Putnamville and a new route may bypass Reelsville hill and grade crossings to improve safety.

In Terre Haute Indiana on April 2 secret service agents reported discovery of bogus twenty dollar bills in circulation. Banks were warned to watch for them as concerns spread that the counterfeits may be in other parts of the state. The bills are described as poorly printed.
