Driver for Wichita firm returns with Pittman body
G A Frend of Mid-Kansas Oil and Gas and Harvey Pittman brother of Edward Pittman arrived Friday to claim the body of 21 year old, unmarried Pittman killed at Vandalia crossing west of Reelsville. Pittman, en route from Detroit with a new Dodge roadster, was employed by Arnold Auto Company of Wichita to deliver cars. Burial planned in Darby, Kansas.

Five Socialist Assembly Members Expelled in New York
In Albany on April 1 1930 Socialist members Louis Waldman Julius Claessens Samuel Orr and Charles Solomon were expelled from the New York State Assembly by a large majority after long debate. Waldman and Claessens and Solomon were removed with votes around 116 to 0 or 116 to 5 while other members debated the judiciary committee report for about a day.
