Ore Dumping Ramp and Maintenance and All Girl Play Shop Nearing Completion

The $10,000 ore dumping bridge at Green River is near completion after 22 working days. A 36 by 81% ft maintenance shop will rise near the ramp, with a Butler Steel building to be erected north of the ramp. Ore trucks, about 54 feet long, cost around $30,000 each and will haul 6 tons per load. Sinister House, Green River High School’s second annual all girl play, was cast and slated for mid February, directed by Lee F Gle d hill. The melodrama features Hepzibah Jennie and Ruth in a tense plot with a surprising climax.

University Seeks 6 426 000 for Major Building Program

The University of Utah plans to ask the federal government for 6 426 000 in loans to finance its largest building program.
