Watson Will Issue Order After Hearing

New Coin Operated Laundry Planned for Green Lake
Louis Cain of Ripon secures the former Brooks General Store at Hil and Mill in Green Lake for a coin operated laundry. Renovation begins February 1 by Alvin and Schultz with a brick front, new interior, and 24 hour service. Three quarters of space will house the laundry with a lounge for customers. Office space will be kept for Krueger Real Estate and Insurance and attorney Harry Stel. Cain also may remodel the east section for shop or offices later. Cain owns Drive-In Liquor Store and Self service depots in Ripon.

Damage to Summer Homes Reported in Sheriff's Area
Vandalism to summer homes and cottages is reported with smashed windows and a wrecked boat house door. A group of young boys was seen in the area during Christmas vacation but no arrests have been made. Windows broken on the Eckert Starkey estate and Arrow Rice cottage with a light fixture pulled loose. The Cyrus Gareuis boat house door is broken and multiple cottage windows damaged.
