Plan to Improve County Picnic Grounds

Busy Bees 4-H Club Meets at Bluffton School
The Busy Bee 4-H Club gathered at Bluffton School on Thursday August 20 at 8 p.m. President David Patchett led the meeting with new courtesy rules discussed. Donna and Sandra Schultz and Jan Toll served refreshments. Peter Johnson and David furnished recreation. Donald Therne spoke on cow breeds and Kenney Pitcher on babysitting. Next meeting is Sept 17 at Bluffton 8 p.m. Additional notes cover visit from Jerry Apps, film on school safety, fair booth blue ribbon for the club, and two members Caroline Keplin and Cathy McConnell preparing to exhibit sheep at the State Fair. Relatives and former Army nurses visited Mrs. Willard Murray. guests from Hamp ton Iowa and Rock Island Illinois shared.
