Marshal Camp acted fast after a bogus Klein grocery check for 17.20. Roy Brown alias Harry Brown alias L. P. Harris and two companions J. J. Moore and D. G. Chapman were jailed by 5 PM awaiting arraignment. Harris had more checks in his pockets and a Denver wife sent letters urging reform. Robbery on Tracks Leaves French Worker Injured

The Julesburg area forms its own irrigation district after farmers vote to issue 450000 dollars in bonds to buy the Jumbo reservoir and related ditches from D M Camfield. The $5.5 million government irrigation project will reclaim over 300000 acres in western Nebraska by extending a 70 mile canal in Wyoming.
