At a regular meeting the Town Trustees received a petition from Joseph Moore to reroute the waste ditch through an alleyway and referred it to a committee. The fire bell purchase plan was given more time. The Mitchell Patton Merchandise Co petition to string a sign on Main street was opposed by the committee. A cabbages removal on a flooded Main street lot was delayed pending a drain solution. Bids for sewer pipe work were referred to Mayor West, who has authority to act, and the Union Pacific granted a freight rebate.
