The Rev. J. T. Protheroe is expected home this week and will conduct Sunday morning Communion at Trinity church. Mrs. A. J. Fairbanks of the W. C. T. U. evangelistic department will hold a gospel temperance meeting Thursday evening at the Congregational church. The four electric lights on the Court House flag staff are praised for aiding residents during long nights.

Buckhorn quarries to hire about one hundred men at once
Surveyors under engineer Patterson move cross lines on the Buckhorn branch and are now at Mr. Wild's farm. Adolph Donath and wife returned from Denver after attending the Grand Encampment of Odd Fellows where Donath was elected Grand Patriarch. Mr. Smith of Smith & Son says the Buckhorn quarries will take about one hundred men and keep them at work.
