The Greeley Cash Store advertises low prices on calico five cents dress ginghams ten cents and cheap lace caps for babies. It notes Paris fashion dresses, new ribbons hats and flowers, and lists curtains carpets queensware and glassware with varied price ranges. A Mothers Association forms in Greencastle and President Cleveland starts a kitchen garden at Oak View.
An eastern paper notes a woman with twenty four sons leaving for the west. The Greeley Board of Trade promotes the idea that the family could live as cheaply here if they buy clothing at the Greeley Cash Store with full suits from four dollars fifty cents and California overalls at seventy five cents.
The Greeley gash store advertises prices for various goods including hats shoes and boots with catalogs inviting comparison to eastern catalogs. The note mentions plans to close out California blankets before a new woolen mill opens in Greeley.
Greeley and surrounding notes report F. E. Ross visiting family at the Oasis hotel, Clara Bernetta slated for a May 29 appearance at the Opera House, and Mrs. Bannister returning from Chicago. Anniversary exercises for Greeley High School 1888 are set for week ending June 2. Junior reception to the Senior class on May 30 at Masonic Hall. Graduation at Greeley Opera House Friday June 1, with alumni reunion and supper June 2 at the Oasis. Class officers list included.
