Friends gathered at their home to congratulate the couple and presented a silver set after dinner. The event highlighted the Bryants hospitality and long standing friendships in the community.
The new Weld County jail, begun last fall, is nearly finished. The 30 by 40 foot two story stone main block includes a brick jailer’s section and steel secured entrances. Total cost around 6200 dollars with county iron support, promising twenty years of capacity and low county expenditure.
