John Wailes reports a very sick young girl while Jim Lee drives cattle for the summer. A large crew works on the Great Western railway as Johnstown residents note church dedication trips and new barn painting contracts. Woman's College Lecture Inspires At Montclair Schoolhouse

The Woman's College at Montclair delivered an engaging talk on Life in Dixie at the local schoolhouse. William Newell of Faulkton 8 D returned home after attending his sister Mrs Henry Mead's funeral in Ault. Mattie Anderson eight died Monday from liver trouble and was buried at Eaton cemetery Tuesday. Carrie and Callie departed Saturday for a two month visit with friends in Mexico Missouri and to see the World's Fair. Baptist prayer meetings move to Thursday evenings at the schoolhouse starting this week.
