Merry Carnival Opens with Fun and Frolic in Canon City

The Canon City carnival opens with a week of street shows and rides including a Ferris wheel, a trapeze act, the London ghost show, Lunette the flying lady, and the Edison kinodrome. Spectators will see a train robbery reenactment, a Pygmalion turn to life, glass blowers, and Professor Charles Johnson diving from 100 feet, with continued attractions throughout the week.

Canon City's Street Fair Impresses Patrons With Variety

Canon City hosts a street fair along Main Street featuring Patterson Brainerd acts, a London ghost show, vaudeville, acrobatics, glass blowers from Baltimore, a Tom Thumb railroad, and a ghost show with Jakey Krautzimer.
