Death of Wyoming University President Lewis
President Lewis of Wyoming university died at the home of Prof. and Mrs. F L Abbott in Greeley from pneumonia after a career in Methodist church work and education. Born in 1860 in Brookville Indiana, he led Moore's Hill College for ten years before becoming Wyoming's president last year. The case followed his energetic travels for educational causes and culminated with a visit to friends in Greeley where he died eight days after falling ill.

Judge James H. Jones Dies in Fort Morgan
Judge James H. Jones of Fort Morgan died Friday morning from consumption after years of illness. Born January 9, 1846 in Putney Vermont, he lived in Greeley and Fort Morgan, serving as justice of the peace and county judge. He leaves a wife Adelia E. Murray and son Laurence D. Jones. Funeral held at his home, with Masonic orders presiding, and interment at Linn Grove cemetery.

North Side Country Club Discusses Edward Hale Works
The North Side Country Club met at Mrs. Sam Clark’s home to discuss the life and works of Edward E. Hale presented by Mrs. Wm Tinker and Mrs. Mort Darling. The program was well rendered with refreshments and social time. The next meeting will be at Mrs. Sawyer’s residence on July 8.

Mrs Rocho presided as New Century club held a Thursday afternoon gathering. New programs were handed out and members enjoyed a floral game won by Mrs Lyons. Readings on Thackeray and Dickens were offered, followed by funny duffer. Lunch on the lawn featured pink and green colors and moss rosebud favors.
