Burglar Breaks In At Henderson Residence

Burglars entered the home of M. P. Henderson between 8 and 9 pm while the family was away, stealing a pocketbook with 35 to 40 dollars and valuable papers. The next morning the book and papers were found in the back yard, but the money was missing. Entry was gained by cutting the rear screen door and forcing the kitchen door with no clue left for investigators.

Death of Fort Collins hotel proprietor David M. Barris Jr.

David Marshall Barris Jr dies in Fort Collins from pneumonia after months of illness. He owned the Commercial hotel and his funeral was held in Fort Collins under the auspices of the local W. O. W. camp. He leaves a wife and son Marshall of Greeley.

Death ends long battle with epilepsy in Greeley man

Melvin L. Hammond of Greeley Colo died yesterday after a year long struggle with epilepsy. He had attempted suicide six weeks earlier, sought treatment in Denver at St Josephs hospital then the county hospital. Survived by a widow and child and a Michigan state superintendent brother. Funeral held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Greeley with burial in Linn Grove.

Pattersons Death in Boulder Sanatorium

Friday afternoon M W Patterson of this city died in the sanitarium at Boulder from pulmonary tuberculosis. He was 45 years, 5 months and 25 days old. He came to Greeley in 190 and invested in real estate building the Albion rooming house on Ninth Street. A daughter died two years ago in this city from consumption and another daughter died a few hours after his death. The funerals were held from the Methodist Episcopal church Monday afternoon and Linn Grove burial. The widow and three children survive him.

Young Miss Patterson Dies After Long TB Suffering

Miss Bertha May Patterson, aged 16 years 3 months and 9 days, died early Saturday of tuberculosis after months of illness. Funeral services were held Monday at the Methodist Episcopal church with Dr Vincent preaching a dual sermon, and interment followed at Linn Grove alongside her father.
