Greeley School District No. 6 boundaries recalled 1864
In an 1864 description printed for School District No. 6 residents, Weld County, Colorado Territory, the tract runs from Peter Winne's western boundary along Cache la Poudre to the Platte and up the South Platte to Leonard Bashaw's claim. The piece notes frontier settlement, Indian threats, and the district’s later changes, with Winne and Bashaw named and historical context of early Weld County. It also covers the Fort Collins Farmers and Millers meeting and shifting milling policy including a call for milling in transit rates and cooperative efforts with Denver rail lines.
