Monday marks pay day for farmers and factory workers as Greeley Eaton Windsor plants distribute funds from November beet shipments totaling tens of thousands. The case of George Kerber, convicted of murder and sentenced to death last fall, has been taken to the state Supreme Court. A date for execution remains to be set, with a penitentiary decision pending in the near term.
The child of William Acree in Keensburg was found dead yesterday morning. Two other men suspected in the case are in custody as the coroner leads the investigation. Authorities describe the death as a smothering incident in a bed.

Washington Dec. 20 The Knox administration said US policy toward Nicaragua remains unchanged with Madriz as president, unless he proves capable of a responsible government and reparations for harms to American citizens. The note to Rodriguez and severed relations stand as outlined. Bell’s suit for 150 dollars filed through attorneys Ewing and Kelley follows Bell’s departure from the city. he resides in the LaGrange district.
George Williams sues Great Western Sugar for 5000 in district court alleging injuries from a 1908 scaffolding fall at the sugar factory. Attorney KK G. Strong represents Williams. H KK Churchill represents the company. Jury previously failed to reach a verdict in the first trial.
