Jesus Vegas Still At Large After Greeley Escape
A documented escape left Jesus Vegas, a small pox patient and burglary suspect, at large after fleeing from the pest house tending his shackled leg irons. Sheriff Florance led a countywide search with no success as Vegas boarded a southbound train with accomplices and vanished weeks ago. He had been captured earlier miles above Fort Collins before returning to the pest house. Rev and Mrs Dudley of Windsor visited the area last Thursday after services at the Christian church.
