Remarkable tale of hydrophobia after long-ago dog bite
From Wapello Record via Abraffi Hill, Mrs. Wright Williams died in Shelbyville Indiana last winter of hydrophobia. Bitten as a girl of about fourteen by a small dog sixty five years earlier, the wound healed with no pain and the dog later remained in the family. The case challenges the idea the human system changes every seven years. Mrs Williams, sister in law to Mr Hill, was mother to seven children most of whom died young.

A Gunnison Review Press summary criticizes the Greeley Tribune for defending plural marriage through a series by D. Boyd and endorsing prohibition as a moral crusade. The piece questions motives and ridicules the editorial stance as a godly yet evasive defense of vice and vice-averse policy. It also reports the Loveland elevator sale to Edson and Ault of Fort Collins, noting tied interests with Standard Milling and concerns about future milling operations in Loveland.
