Colorado Springs man charged in Kansas City kidnapping
AP reports a Colorado Springs man, Marty Bruce Jamperine Jones, 29, was charged with kidnapping related to the abduction of two children and their babysitter from a Colorado Springs residence. The FBI said the suspect was taken into custody in Kansas City after the victims were released in downtown Kansas City. A Jackson County warrant preceded his detention.

Guilty Plea in Fort Lupton Burglary Case
John Steve Romero of Fort Lupton pleaded guilty in district court to second degree burglary connected to an April 19 entry at Purifoy Chevrolet with intent to steal.
