Mrs. E 0 O By rne and Patsy drove to Denver on business. Mrs Youn left for Chicago after visiting in Greeley. The Lip wy tradk is noted, along with the Morilo Herkheimer family returning to Greeley from Denver. Sorby returns to Greeley for winter work while vacationing in Denver. People attended Denver Congregational church meetings. Mrs Gillespie moved to Hammonton for a school position. Dick Smith returned from vacation, with travels in Denver and St John. Mrs Maggie C Howden a longtime Johnstown resident celebrated her last birthday with a family dinner prepared by herself. Guests included Elmer Rowden and children Marlavrie and Hazel Loveland, Wilbur Rowden of Johnstown, Preston Dark and Wava Mla Rowden. Born Sept 4854, she married W A Howden in 1874. they moved from Virginia to Trever Mo in 1878 and to Johnstown in 1918 where she has lived since. Of five children three survive: George Wilbur Johnstown Eline Lewis of 311 Baal Sixth St Weaveland and Clories Andrew 2017 Frantlin St Omaha Neb.
