Skeleton Found in Straw Stack Tied to Boy Suicide
A 16 year old boy Elmer Boggs, son of Mrs. Boggs and stepdaughter of J C Carson, died by his own hand after his father’s death. His body was found in a burning straw stack on the Carson farm near Longmont last Saturday. Coroner Macy concluded suicide, with a revolver missing a chamber and a bottle of whiskey found nearby. The case followed the boy’s pattern of collecting death clippings for his mother since his father’s death in 1906. Funeral arrangements followed.
