A horticulture note by TOM STEVENSON explains over winter storage for glad bulbs. After digging, trim tops, cure corms on paper in a warm dry place for three weeks, then separate new corms from old. Store in ventilated containers at 35 to 40 degrees and treat with a light DDT dust for thrips. Larger corms bloom next summer, smaller cromlets need another year.
