In rural court on Tuesday Alfred Aicher of Grover Route 1 faced drunken driving charges after an auto crash south of Nunn Saturday night. His car collided head on with Gordon Mase's vehicle injuring Mase, Aicher, his companion Robert Gunn and Moss. Max Montoya of Route 2 Greenley pleaded not guilty to reckless driving and Justice BG presided Tuesday, convicting and fining $5 with costs totaling $20.18. Dimner Christenson and Otto Baer heard calls for help from 1222 16th Street and rushed to a pit at L6th Street and 12th Avenue where two men, Carl Vetter and Deringer, were overcome by gas. Christenson and Baer pulled Vetter from the four foot hole and revived him with water and aid, then rescued Deringer who lay near the gas, lifting him to safety. Deringer was treated with oxygen and released from the hospital Wednesday.

Sam Blanco Jr was arrested on Highway 86 north of Port Lupton by Courtesy Patrol officers and held at the county jail on a drunken driving charge.
