One of the largest conferences of the Farmer's Union ever held convened Thursday in the M. B. A. hall with delegates from the Northern district. The forenoon open meeting welcomed county farmers and unions. speakers included Andrew and Brandon of the State Coal company and R. N. Wagner of Berthond. Afternoon delegates numbered over 100 and elected district officers: Ben Preston of Fort Collins as chairman, R. M. Burned Milliken Man Admitted To Greeley Hospital
Jud Markle, badly burned in Milliken on Wednesday evening, was moved to Greeley hospital this morning by auto. He remains in serious condition but officials hope for recovery. Markle worked for Flood Motor company at Milliken and was burned when lighting a pipe after washing his hands in gasoline.

La Salle Burglars Captured After Theft Spree
