City officials from Evans and Greeley met in Greeley on Friday to exchange two proposed water contracts. Evans would cap water rates at five percent over production cost and pay an $800,000 plant investment to Greeley under a 50 year term. Evans seeks storage facilities and potential growth concessions. Greeley asks for rapid storage construction and greater water taps control. The meeting produced no action and officials said no closer to resolving water woes.
