Scientists Find New Evidence Life May Exist Elsewhere
The Ames Research Center team reported at the 162nd American Chemical Society meeting that the Orgueil meteorite fragments contain pyrimidine-like chemicals and six amino acids suggesting life related compounds may originate beyond Earth. They caution most chemicals resemble terrestrial life but some could belong to non Earth life forms from ancient solar system material.
