262 Die in State Traffic This Year

A report shows 262 traffic deaths in the state this year, with three deaths on Monday night. The toll exceeds the previous year by about 60. Incidents include a Spring man killed when his automobile overturned, a 40 year old Lynita man dying in a truck crash, and a Denver street collision injuring a 53 year old woman named Hudson.

Weld County Democrats re elected Hall as chairman at Andersons Tea House in Greeley. Seventy seven attended the dinner and meeting. Louise Butler was reelected vice chair. Playground To Be Presented City By Kiwanis Club Saturday

Kiwanis Club presents the city playground deed ceremony at the new Swanson lot between Pours leuth and Fifteenth Avenues and Fifth and Sixth streets. Plane Stealing Charge Dropped in Colorado Case

Denver reports charges of stealing an airplane against Lucian Davis 20, a lieutenant colonel in the air force reserve, were dropped. Davis was arrested Sept 8 after borrowing a plane in Treano California and intended to return it to Colorado. Tom Kitges of Grange Grove admitted possible permission was given. Federal agents had limited details.

Condition of Ex Governor Carr Very Serious

Virgil Moss died of a heart attack in Minataré Nebraska. He and family moved from Greeley to Midiatari twenty years ago. He worked for Greeley Union Bank and the Greeley Gas Company. Doctor Kidder Joins Weld County Hospital as Pathologist
