Greeley aims to collect about 11000 in overdue water charges owed by 125 flat-rate and 50 metered customers. City officials say notices were mailed August 20 and 24 with a September 15 deadline, or water will be shut off except for drinking and limited toilet use. About 7000 is from flat-rate accounts and 4000 from metered users, with progress improving as customers pay or arrange plans.
