Two brothers George Henry Fisher and Richard Louis Fisher died in a pickup crash northeast of Denver near Commerce City. Their truck veered off the road, skidded, and rolled. both were ejected. A Greeley truck driver James Ha llett, 25, was seriously injured when his truck brake failure sent it down an 100-foot embankment into a river after sideswiping a car Monday night. Passenger Dattie Werner, 66, of Gunnison died at the scene. The other driver Mildred Dive, 58, of Gunnison and a second passenger Velma Miller, 63, were hospitalized. Ha llett’s wife Carol learned of his condition as doctors said he would not be moved until the end of the week.
