Mrs Thea Cobb Landon wife of Kansas Governor Landon intervened to save William Messer from losing his job as a Rocky Mountain Transportation driver after he was dismissed for baggage mishap on Landon’s special train. Wrecks on Highways Hospitalize Three Injured
A late Friday incident near La Salle and Peckham left a man and his four year old son with multiple injuries after a car skidded and rolled over. John Duehranick and his son Joe suffered serious injuries while Mrs. Mamie Dushianack sustained minor burns and bruises. they were taken to Greenley hospital by Carl Atchareon. The driver, A T Nelson, was also injured and taken to the hospital. Another wreck near Eaton injured Welgon and Runyan. Nelson rode in Runyan’s car. Damage totaled about 260. The injured are expected to recover.
