Texas Man Found at Loveland Pool with Throat Cut

A Texan man, DansAvila, 45, was found at a Loveland pool with his throat cut. He was taken to Larimar county hospital at Fort Golling, Caio, where officers questioned him. He alternated between claims of assault and self harm, later suggesting possible self infliction after being drugged.

Junior Fair Exhibits Grow as More Schools Enter

In a county fair display, 36 schools entered, up from 22 last year, with participants from Greeley, Grover, Gilcrest, Eaton, Weld counties and beyond. Community displays shone in Keenesburg and Slike, while livestock judging by Platteville and nearby high schools provided a key feature of Thursday’s program. Forty-nine boys judged stock, led by Warren Drawas of Greeley, with Cort Markley of Platteville and Paul Cox of Platteville close behind.
