New City Sewage Plant Opens for Public Inspection
The $98 477 92 facility on the east end of Tenth Street beside the Powders River will be open for public inspection next Wednesday September 14 a tour will explain operation of the automatic plant and its clarifiers and digesters built with a 46 percent PWA grant and bonds up to 100 000 issued for the remaining cost preparations include two clarifiers a digester tank and a floculator with testing and grounds cleanup underway

Two Injured Carpenters Recover After 30 Foot Fall
Two carpenters, Henry Garcia and Ygnacio Gamboa, fell 30 feet from a deck at La Salle overpass and were rapidly improving at Greeley hospital Friday though one man faced internal injuries. Gamboa and Garcia, both of Rag town, were held at the county jail Friday after a disturbance incident. Gamboa received emergency treatment for bruises and cuts.
