Jealous Man Threatens Woman with Knife in Eaton
James Lee, a colored man, threatened to kill his sweetheart Mrs. Mary Davis with a butcher knife after jealousy over attention from a Mexican neighbor. Sinking Wells at Eaton for City Water Supply
Eaton, Sept. 10. Work began today on wells to supply the town with water. Five or six more wells are planned to ensure several years of supply. A centrifugal pump will connect the system, costing about $3,500. The town board awarded Eaton Hardware a contract for an ornamental iron fence around the cemetery.
