UP to start service on new Pleasant Valley Crow Creek branch
Union Pacific officials announced that freight and passenger service would begin on the new branch lines through Pleasant Valley and the Crow Creek district on or before October 1. Freight rates are not yet set, but lines should be ready within two weeks and a daily train will serve several small towns. Farmers expect the lines to move crops, and real estate men may organize an excursion when traffic opens. A motor service is planned for late fall.
