Mother is Burned in Ranch Fire Tragedy
A 3 year old son of Mr and Mrs Harry Withers died after playing with matches in an outhouse on a northern Colorado ranch. The mother was badly burned rescuing him. Fire started about 4 o clock Thursday night and the child survived five hours after being removed from the blaze. The couple has another child and the mother is the daughter of D A Stavers, a pioneer resident of Kersey.

Goldfield Man Killed by a Woman
Webb H. Parkison a 27 year old broker was shot and killed in Goldfield Nevada by a woman who said she was his wife. The assailant then shot herself but survived. Parkison’s brother Howard Parkison of Encampment Wyoming, the mayor, notified Parkison’s parents in Oregon, while relatives in Colorado and Washington state are named as survivors.

Weld County Farm Exhibit Plans Expand to Chicago and Omaha
