Man Fined For Contempt Of Court
Deputy Sheriff retrieved Don Stratton in Colorado beet fields east of Greeley after a Denver subpoena named him as a murder trial witness. Auto Collision on LaSalle Bridge Causes Rider and Horse Injuries
In LaSalle on October 28 a car driven by J B Gross of Greeley struck a horse and rider on the LaSalle bridge. The rider, a homesteader near Nunn en route to Denver, was thrown. the horse broke a shoulder. The driver, with Jack Taylor and a beer harvester agent, backed up then assisted. The rider sustained bruises and returned to Greeley by train. legal action not determined.

Eaton October 28 Four Mexicans were startled when Marshal Reger appeared at their tent during a supposed coon can game. Reger, joined by Florance and Keyes, sought information on a different matter. The four men were sent to Greeley to face gambling charges.
