Climax miner killed at Climax Mine in Colorado
Hubert G. Rodriguez 34, longtime Climax Molybdenum Co. worker, died after a metal drag line cable snapped underground and struck him in the head. Two nearby employees performed resuscitation before he was taken to the infirmary. Investigators from the Colorado Bureau of Mines, federal authorities, and the company will inspect the scene.
