Denver October 24 James V Pare republican candidate for president was confined to his home today with severe infection of his right eye and headquarter makes it seem unlikely he will be able to keep his engagements for several days. The candidate contracted a cold two weeks ago on a campaigning trip and it worsened. He disregarded doctors orders and continued campaign. On Saturday two separate men gave advice that he must temporarily abandon his tour. He was forced to miss meetings and a march in Weld County and a meeting in Greeley Saturday night.
Ida Jones died Monday morning at her sister Mrs Hess Dit ard’s home in Galeton after a long tenure with Teachers College and the training school. Survived by two sisters, two brothers, and former colleagues, she had served nine years in education roles and recently left work due to illness.
