Dr Warren Jacobson chair man Mesa County Health Department said the approach eases the strain on the elderly and vaccines should be ample by early fall. He noted 33 elderly deaths nationwide last week after vaccination but tied to the flu shot is unlikely and recalled about 6000 Coloradans died in the 1918 epidemic.
