British forces rushed to Belfast Tolast after new rioting caused one death and multiple serious injuries. Police restored order by midnight as military rule tightened. Armored cars and troops reinforced streets while arrests occurred. A conference in Boon sought outdoor relief benefits for workers.
The Greeley Radio Amateurs plan a 7 30 pm Friday meeting on October 14 in the Charley Chamber of Commerce rooms. Attendees from northern Colorado and Denver will hear TR J Androwsk, the Rocky Mountain division director of the American Radio Relay League, Lt J A Stusace Sr, in charge of the radio naval reserve for the Liln district, P G Veatch, and Reuben Isberg presiding. Discussions cover high frequency experiments between Pikes Peak and Denver and reflectivity of very short waves. Demonstrations include field stations on mountain tops and plains to test long distance radio with short waves. Anyone interested in science or radio is invited. Refreshments will be served after the meetings.
A new fascist constitution set for Grand Council approval on November 5 introduces an oath pledging to follow TL Duca and obey orders without discussion. It bans dueling, requires a party appointed Honor Jury for certain disputes, and enforces banishment for expulsions. Mrs James Reed wife of the former senator from Missouri died at a Kansas City hospital after a brief illness. She had been taken to the hospital that night after a septic sore throat developed, later diagnosed as pneumonia. Mr Reed who had just delivered a campaign speech in Des Moines was at her bedside. By an earlier marriage she had two children and was active in various charities. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Wher A Mansfield of Cedny Point Indiana.
Kittle Grocery on 12 ints avenue shows a redesigned layout replacing a long used counter. Mr Mitte notes eight workers behind that counter over the years, and several have since died. A small blaze near 605 Ninth Street caused minor damage to a corner building when ashes ignited near the Hoffman residence. Fire crews arrived quickly. Meanwhile officials in Indian Fale, Ind. report a 29 percent safety grade for the triangle area.
The coroner’s jury concluded Theo dora Green died by self inflicted gunshot in the rear garage area Friday night. The report also states Green’s son La Vera f was found in his car wounded by the same weapon as Green’s death, with the child injured when he fell from the car.

Local authorities prepared to seek appeal to the court as 600 autos arrived to view the clash amid a growing highway blockade in the Twin Cities area.
Havana reports Cuba’s sugar output in 1993 may be restricted to two million tons, possibly less, with a decree to be signed by President Machado once Dutch export figures are ratified. Dutch approval is tied to Java producers resisting a 3,000,000 ton Europe export demand next year, and production this year stands near 2.7 million tons.

Englishwoman CG Woodreff and her three children were attacked by bandits in Manchuria. Woodreff was killed as the attackers attempted to abduct the children. Guards pursued the kidnappers. two were killed by villagers, two escaped, leaving two bandits dead and the children harmed but safe with local authorities.
