P W Allen of the Greeley electric road has been in Denver attending a national convention of electrical manufacturers. He bought equipment for the Greeley line and J H Woolf, back from the coast, has contracted for poles and new cars at Seattle. Rails and ties are on site and binding will start today. Projected completion in about sixty days. A street car ride is promised for Christmas. Ties and rails are unloaded along Twelfth avenue to Third street and the Buzick property will host a new car barn with employee cottages planned.

Sterling Car Smashed by Freight on Passing Track
Special to the Daily Tribune reports at 10 30 this morning a motor running between LaSalle and Sterling was struck by a freight train. The front end was demolished and the motor car was pushed along the passing track near the switch. The motorman escaped major harm by staying outside the cab during the collision.

With the sugar beet season opening the beet pulp feeding season begins and hauling will start late next week.
